It Saved My Head!
The 6D ATB-1T EVO helmet (they really could have shortened that name) Is amazing! I crashed on my bike this week. My foot slipped off the pedal going off of a drop which caused me to slam onto my left side hitting my head, forearm and butt against hard slick rock. My two buddies I was with helped make sure I was all right and make sure the lightheadedness went away before I started riding again. It took about 10 minutes of lying there with my feet elevated above my head for the lightheadedness to go away. The reason for this post is that my head was very well protected. I didn’t even have a headache after. I’m nursing a giant bruise on my butt and road rash on my forearm but my head is fine because of the amazing technology in this helmet. From their website it states: The ATB-1T reduces angular acceleration transfer by means of the 3-dimensional displacement capability of ODS when subject to impacts. Low-threshold energy accelerations are also dramatically reduced providing a more forgiving helmet over a much broader range of energy demands. There is simply no other helmet technology that can offer the athlete these combined safety benefits.
I am grateful for this helmet and the research and development that the 6D team put into it. If you’re looking for a helmet that will protect your head and brain like no other I recommend this one
